I'm really happy with how #windows11 runs on hardware as old as a #surfacepro3. I've got the i7/8gb version, and it's perfect. Looks awesome too. I've resisted posting about it until I had a few days to test it, but it runs great.

For anyone thinking about doing it but wondering... #windows11 runs perfectly fine on a #microsoft #surfacepro3 despite not being officially supported. I modified the registry (which is a change Microsoft gave a cautious 'okay' to), downloaded the Windows Media Creation Tool, and it installed without issue. Haven't booted into #Windows10 on my #surfacepro3 since about 2.5 years. As I upgraded to a #surfacepro7 I can let the old one now do the all the updates, as it even reached the end of its support for 1803. I'm "afraid" the new device has the same fate 🤷‍♂️ #sorrynotsorry
