A faulty driver from Qualcomm caused Microsoft Surface Pro X cameras to stop working on May 23. Microsoft has issued a partial update, but needs new Qualcomm drivers for a real fix. So, today #Apple is poised to return to shipping #ARM based computers, and the fans will probably rejoice and tell everyone how revolutionary it is, while I'll just sip my coffee.
I've been on an ARM computer, a #SurfaceProX, since 2019.

Managed to compile #LuaLang for #WindowsOnARM #ARM64
🌕
* Passes basic tests for Lua 5.3.4 (I compiled 5.3.5 but couldn't find tests for 5.3.5).
* Used VS2019 under Win32 emulation on #SurfaceProX to cross-compile to ARM64.
