Poor possum did not look well, but it's almost like the snake only just found it. What would a snake do with such a large prey? Hopefully it hadn't been attacked by one of the many dogs illegally off leash in the area!

Visited Ironbark Basin yesterday. It had clearly copied a lot of rain the previous evening. Was most interested by these orderly stacks of leaves, deposited by running surface water in the path. I'd love to be able to see them form, it's almost as though someone had stacked them on a letter spike.

A further surprise came in the Photos App, when Siri correctly recognised the species of tree, presumably just from the leaf shape!
