I discovered yesterday that my grandfather is not the only teacher in my tree: his wife's great aunt's son (William Marshall Meadows) was a teacher too.
IsWilliam taught in the senior school of the London Orphan Asylum in Watford - some of whose records are now cared for by the #SurreyHistoryCentre (where I used to work).
