In #surveyexperiments in 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 🇸🇪 Mattias Agerberg and I find that respondents are more likely to support #intervention in a #conflict when #sexualviolence (rather than other #violence) is prevalent. Further analyses reveal that the (perceived) victimization of women thereby activates #gendered #protection norms in 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
