I don’t talk about my bladder cancer much online. I feel epilepsy needs more eyes on it compared to cancer. I have metastatic bladder cancer. Spread to bones and brain. One of my many crosses to bear. I mention this today because I had some amazing news today. I started a new drug cocktail a few months back. The bladder tumor has now shrunk 100%!! The relief I feel is overwhelming! I still have the metastases but I’m getting there. Thank you, all! #cancer #epilepsy #surviving Love you #Fediverse

在文档里写下这个相当标题党（却也算贴切）的题目后，我两个多星期都没有动笔。

我们的课程，Introduction to Women and Gender Studies，每周两次，周一和周五早上8点到10点一刻；我一般负责周五那节，因为车程遥远，需要5:30从家出发。最后一节课是2022年12月12日，一个寒冷的周一。平常我周五搭车的、酷酷教编程的小伙伴们已经结课了；于是我提前一晚去了费城，住在老友R家。

凌晨六点，我的co-teacher小伙伴J开车来接我。从最开始离开费城的黑夜，到朝阳的粉红与橘黄，7:15我们就到达了目的地。不知为何，我脑海中来回想着的形容只有“鱼肚白”三个字。

这节课包含了复习回顾、期末考试、教学评估、告别寄语。上完课，在回来的路上，J和我在相当可爱的某途经水产养殖场吃了午饭，从负责我校监狱教学的办公室里拿了纪念品水杯+布袋。

然后J送我回了家。我进门，脱鞋，打开手机，在备忘录里写下“《我在美国男子监狱教性别研究》”字节。然后我放下手机，平躺在沙发上，闷声哭了一个多小时。

我们课程分为四个板块，分别是：背景介绍；有关身体（The Body）；控制性别（Controlling Gender）；#自由（Freedom）——里面亦有很多有趣的具体主题，从trans panic到patriarchal conception等等。课程accreditation要求的固定教材较一般，就不特别推荐了。
