@polycamerous got me Susan Rogers' book for the Christ-mass. Rogers, if you don't know, is notable for being Princes' right-hand woman from about Purple Rain onwards.

Anyway - the book takes the form a series of expositions on various records, like chatting with your mates about records.

Given that set up I was expecting the Beatles or some similar audiophile pish. Turns out the first record she wants her readers to hear is the Shaggs, also known as the best band. Outstanding behaviour, IMO.
