I like better and faster internet but these days people are just running behind modern frameworks and libraries even when they don't need them.
I built my entire blog using in and I proudly say my site works quite fast, even in slower internet areas.

Myth about : proprietary software is always better quality.

Proprietary vendors often force upgrades, leaving old versions unsupported with potential security flaws. communities can continue support, and patch bugs for all versions of their code.

Anyone have an off-grid method of generating electricity to a camper-van battery that isn't solarpower?

I've been really bitter about the electricity companies price gouging this past year, and want to live sort of but in an apartment. Like without the van.

Enterprise tech-related GHG emissions are significant (~1% of total globally).

Some interesting data found by McKinsey: End user devices generate 1.5-2x more carbon than on-premises and improving from 1.57 to 1.3 requires 250% more investments (while CSP’s achieve PUE of 1.10). Focus should be on combining low-cost/high-impact options for mckinsey.com/capabilities/mcki
