Finally putting the mud in the walls of the tool room!
This technique is called bahareque.
Bamboo walls are constructed on top of a rock base. They are then filled in with a mixture of clay, rocks, and mud. The recipe always varies depending on the materials available on site, and the details of the technique vary depending on the builder. We'll be leaving the bamboo visible, though usually they're plastered over.
