World Pulses Day! Pulses form the basis of many of my chilli dishes. Red lentils go to mush - useful thickening. Others hold their shape. Black beans - smokey flavour & iron. Tomato paste - lycopene. For a mix of amino acids, combine with soy and quinoa.
