A previous GP was stunned at my low LDL cholesterol levels. And B12, iron, protein, etc were fine. My weight is sound.

I said I ate a vegan diet. A derisory snort followed.

Objective measures, still not enough. Meat-as-norm ideology speaks people. They don't even notice.

So you can rinse lentils after cooking to remove the oligosaccharides and reduce gut fermentation, and I reckon, therefore, your methane emissions 😉 BUT what other nutrients will you wash away? Tell me if you know. I'm all researched out.

Update on the Yumis Veggie Burger's inconsistent fat content reporting of 8g on the packet and 20g on the website - they're onto it. It's 8g.

Kindly sending me a voucher for taking the trouble to let them know.

Their green goodness burger is better at 2g. It's generally about as good as processed food - better than some homemade wholefoods.

When it comes to greenhouse gas emissions, the worst of the plant foods studied is better than the best of the meats studied.

If you'd give up just one meat, from a carbon perspective alone, beef is the one.
