3D-prints of a rare ankylosaur dinosaur osteoderm generated by Tom Hartman of the University of Nottingham. The original bone was recently discovered in the Oxford Clay and donated to the Nottingham Natural History Museum @GeorgeTheGorilla

I’ll be bringing these prints to #SVPCA2023 to help illustrate a lightning talk about the new fossil.

We can support up to £500 to cover costs associated with attending SVPCA. This includes travel, accommodation, fees, subsistence, etc.

Again, we can support up to £500 to attend #SVPCA2023 through the Jones-Fenleigh Fund administered by PalAss. You don't need to be presenting. No restrictions on what you're spending on except that it's for attending the conference (and up to £500). So this can include travel, accommodation, registration fee, dinner fee, etc. The only criterion is that you do not have any institutional or grant funding available to you. Please email me if you qualify.

#SVPCA2023 at Lincoln is still open for registration until Monday 21 Sept 2023. Spaces still available on the annual dinner. I've got 8 spaces left for the morphometrics workshop on the 6th Sept, plenty of availability for the field trip on 9th Sept.

#SVPCA2023 Lincoln as always is in conjunction with SPPC. 6th Sept is SPPC (AM + PM) and SVPCA (AM workshop; PM Special Symposium).
We have a number of ticket types for this joint event: SPPC only, SVPCA only, SVPCA + SPPC, all with regular and student rates. We also have a Social Events only ticket where you can just attend the social functions and not the academic sessions (suitable for partners, families and friends?).
