I think you're supposed to wear robes corresponding to your highest qualification (I have a PhD in Physics)...

But it surely made more sense for the robes to match the degree I was a graduand for (BSc Applied Software Engineering)...

I mean, this is the highest qualification I hold in software engineering...

Since I'm about to graduate next month with first class honours in software engineering, from the uni course I've been doing alongside work for the last three years...perhaps it's time to make the "physicist becoming software developer" a bit more definite?
