I did two trips to the Malalotja Reserve in Swaziland. Once in the late 80s and then again in the early 90s. One wild camps in designated spots, which have to be reserved. It is real wilderness.

One walks between zebra, wildebees, and various other buck species. On my first trip's last day, I was walking on the exiting jeep track and a herd of wildebeest ran across the road, not to far behind me.

The assassination of a prominent human-rights lawyer has rocked the small kingdom of #Eswatini in the latest eruption of violence after years of brutal crackdowns on pro-democracy activists in #Africa’s last absolute monarchy.

Thulani Maseko was gunned down in front of his family in his living room on Saturday night. Unidentified assassins shot him through a window, according to opposition leaders in Eswatini, the country formerly known as #Swaziland.
