If you don't live in #swdc you may not know the Titanic Memorial even exists.
It is a strange monument, with an interesting history. It wasn't always located in this obscure location next to Ft McNair. Over the years, our neighborhood has come to cherish the spot as our view of the Washington Channel. It's NPS land, so it won't be developed. Neighbors can fish there. Others take in the view from the benches nearby or on the memorial:
