I had this amazing plan to wear my red sweater with the word Merry written on it to the elementary school yesterday. It occurred to me it would be fun to make my DD16 wear one with the word Pipen. She was volunteering too. Only 1/2 short a sweater for a brilliant plan. But when I got to my closet my sweater didn’t even say Merry. It said ‘Amour’. A 100% short sweaters for what would have been genius. Now it is only a story of awesomeness that did not happen. #LOTR #sweaterfail #bestlaidplans

This was supposed to be my 2020 Rhinebeck Sweater. Of course, we had to postpone that trip to 2021.

Well, except for the first 10 rows it is all wrong. I have to move the lifeline, rip it all back while keeping the stripe yarn sorted by the number of rows.

This was my first adult sized sweater and I failed miserably. I reacted by starting a shawl which I am still working on.
