Außerdem spielten heute in einem "Spitzenspiel" die USA gegen Schweden das unsere skandinavischen Nachbarn im Elfmeterschießen für sich entscheiden konnten. Somit wird es keinen dritten WM-Titelgewinn in Folge für die #USA geben die damit mit Sicherheit auch weit hinter ihren Erwartungen liegen (immerhin haben sie es aber aus der Gruppenphase raus geschafft). Tough loss for the women’s team.. crashing out on penalty shootout. Saw the last kick by Sweden .. it was blocked but the crossbar had other ideas. Y’all can tell by the side netting that it crossed the goal line. But missing two penalty kicks prior were not helpful either. It was a great attempt by our women , cuz they tried. Remember others will talk about it negatively but they won’t have the balls to attempt to play for the country. #sweusa
