I haven't tried Swift before but decided to try a tutorial for kicks after seeing an experienced programmer ask for recommendations on how to get started with iOS development and someone suggested the Stanford videos. The first video is really good.

Also I can't believe how nice the XCode Swift development UX is. There's a cool GUI where you can select properties and it writes bits of code for you, so it's a nearly bidirectional WYSIWYG editor.
