Hat hier wer Erfahrung mit #SWT für Java? Halte das momentan für den besten Nachfolger von Swing und frage mich, ob es Nachteile hat, die mir bei 0815 Desktop-Anwendungen begegnen könnten. Die Artikel im Netz sind teils alt und JavaFX ist weder optisch, noch vom Aufbau und dem XML-Gedöns meins. Aus meiner Sicht passt das nicht als Swing-Nachfolger.

There's also accessibility in #SWT, not just #Swing & #AWT, but I'm not sure if that works on #Linux either.

TL;DR is that Alan is still trying to manipulate the narrative and paint himself in a good light, despite multiple people being able to corroborate this his narrative is nothing more than a delusion. He also claims SWT never planned to actually host the Championship, and this was all elaborately planned to happen by them and their team. All of which, as far as I can tell, is completely untrue.

Well, Alan dropped his "evidence", and honestly it's a lot to process, so I'm gonna link to some people on the bird site that have analyzed his statement better than I could.

#PandaGlobal has released a new statement (https://twitter.com/PandaGlobal/status/1599631343159480321) saying that, effective immediately, Dr. Alan is no longer the CEO, and also that the #PandaCup Finale is postponed until further notice.

Also interestingly enough, Dr. Alan has doubled down on saying that #SWT has lied to everyone and that #BeyondTheSummit is the one harming the community. (https://twitter.com/DrAlanB/status/1599644902807068673) Supposedly he has more 'evidence' on this coming soon, but it should be interesting to see how he views reality.
