@automattack ... I was in the Triangle '94-'99, still friends there; last visited for a Nellie McKay show in Carrboro 10 mo ago. I go to the HoppinJohn Festival, but skipped '22 because of illness.

Triangle Coincidence: Guitar repairman Mike Kovick, who worked on one of mine in '97 in Durham moved up here to #FloydVa in #swVa before I did, worked on my other guitar in 2008, replacing a bridge he had predicted would need it eventually.

In #swVa -- wonder how many fediverseans recognize that as meaning the left-hand, but frequently right-wing, bottom corner of Virginia, bordering North Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia ... with great music, beautiful mountains, rivers, diverse plants & animals, and a few college towns that a resident recently complained vote Dem because they are "PhD infected."

(Don't call me Dr. Bob, since AP taught me to only use that for medical doctors.)
