I'm currently working on reorganizing playbooks in a bit to remove a large set of in the repository. The different service playbooks will be grouped into "layers" which then will be included in the "site.yml" playbook.

I've had this idea of a filesystem-based relational that uses for relations. The endgoal is to allow easily syncing only the changed data to but it could be anything else e.g .

Specifically for cases like it might be handy. projects often export a huge zip, but when things change, they have to reexport the entire DB again.

Haven't had time to work on it, but somebody else could take the idea and run with it.

is a "graphical" version of . Might be useful, even just for seeing the options of rsync arranged differently.

The -a option is for mode and preserves , , , (eg ). If our records are correct, you can do the same with the individual options (-rlptgoD) but pls double-check.

If there are files/folders you want to exclude (too big, temp files or you want to separately etc) look into '--exclude-from' option.
