This morning I listened to a short talk by Cardinal Mario Grech who's leading the #SynodOnSynodality.

It angers me that we have enemies trying to subvert the Church's mission. The whole thing is, as Cardinal Mueller called it, an attempted "hostile takeover."

We already have unchangeable, divine commands about sodomy. We've already definitively ruled against priestesses. We already have the true gospel -- we just need to focus on living it ourselves and proclaiming it to the world.

Jesus will intervene, I have no doubt. He won't let the gates of hell prevail, but that doesn't mean he won't allow many to dive headlong into it. We just have to make sure we don't get hoodwinked into forsaking the gospel once delivered to the saints.

The idea of a "listening Church" is a big, hot pile of waffles.

The Church is commissioned to proclaim, not to listen to feminists and sexual deviants.
