It all started with 'mad scientist drummer' back in 2008. I connected some #Synthesizers to my #Drums with a lot of cables and #Triggers to be able to control all of them in real time. Worked out quite well and I still love these old tunes.

Replacing the motherboard and power supply on my #Sequential #ProphetX #Synthesizer today...
Some kind of design flaw that bricks the machine when the CR2032 coin battery goes dead. It's out of warranty, and the final cost will only be $25. I opted to do the repair myself because it's much easier and less expensive than shipping this puppy to California.
I think the hardest part is keeping track of the screws...

* FL Studio Mobile: probably the most capable app I have. Can’t change time signature after project is created, which sucks.
* GarageBand: only dabbled with it a bit so far. Seems nice but might hold your hand a bit too much for my tastes.
* DefleMask: capable tracker, relatively good UX. Limited, but for good reason (it’s chiptune-specific)
* SunVox: amazingly powerful, baffling UX, not great w/touch-only interface
