I had a new synth delivered today, a spiffy #Yamaha #ModX+ (the 76-key one) and it turned up with the touchscreen touch stone dead. Rebooted, went online to find hard resets but the hard reset uses... yup, you guessed it, the touchscreen.

It's probably something as simple as a ribbon cable that's come loose in transit but I'm not gonna void the warranty by opening up.

It made me miss r/synthesizers on #Reddit because the kbin equivalent.... well, it's tumbleweed cos it's new.
