Und die dumme Nextcloud bietet mir keine Möglichkeit, die LDAP-User in lokale User umzuwandeln, wenn LDAP nicht läuft. Die nötigen Infos wären ja lokal da.

Ich soll mich doch jetzt nicht ernsthaft hinsetzen, einen neuen Windows-Server mit AD aufsetzen und die User-Daten aus dem Backup einspielen?

Debian, bash, it works:

FreeBSD, sh, nope.

(yes, the missing -e on the command line is a problem, but even so, the beginning of the string should be the same in base64, right?)

I need something that works on any Unix, in any shell. It seems there should be a portable way to do this with printf, but it (cough) escapes me.

Working on Fedora Silverblue introduced me to toolbx and distrobox, two great ways to build isolated shell environments in containers. You can install what you need, and if things go sideways, you can simply rebuild them. Their integration into the host system is seamless, it's amazing.

A #kubernetes operator sets a PodDisruptionBudget automatically with a hard-coded value. My issue asking for an option to override or disable it was closed with "works as intended, you can manually delete this resource".

I'm a bit disappointed about this is pretty annoying in case of node drains for deployments with a single replica.

Is there a valid reason to enforce a PDB even if the app supports singe replica deployments?
