Leaving aside the idea of using #ChatGPT for coding, and assuming you have #copilot or something similar in your editor and terminal, you will be... faster than you were. Especially at applying your skills to new niches.

My 2c is: scripting is a significant part of admin, ops, devops -- learn a language, and using AI as a step-stool to give you a boost. It'll be a while before AI #sysadmins will put you out of a job 😜

I’ve been hearing LOTS of this class of complaint recently and I’m very split-brained on it…

A. I’ve run my own mailserver (and other people’s) for 30 years. I’ve had *maybe* a half-dozen incidents of having #email from my server blocked or delivered to a “#spam folder” in all that time. It has been years since the last one.

They make it easy to plan for #Sysadmins, #Users, 3rd party #devs and others if they know that for the next 5-10 years they get that setup supported with security updates...

Kennt jemand eine brauchbare Dienstplan Software vorzugsweise ohne bigtech cloud. Wenn jemand zu einem fairen Preis etwas gehostetes im Portfolio für ein ein-Frau-Startup hat oder dazu objektiv beraten kann bitte melden.
Ich vermute dass gute CRM oder Kmu-ERPs plug-ins für sowas haben, bin aber seit dem Studium nicht mehr tief genug im Thema drin um fundiert Vorschläge zu machen.
