How can we use resting state #EEG as a #biomarker of chronic pain?

Our #SystematicReview indicates that increases of theta and beta activity are the most consistent findings.

Peak alpha frequency, gamma power, and theta connectivity are other candidates for diagnostic biomarkers. Evidence for other biomarker types, e.g. monitoring or predictive biomarkers was scarce.

Risk of bias was high in many studies. Developing EEG biomarkers needs larger, collaborative #OpenScience studies.
