Justice Roberts is willfully ignorant of the challenge that is bested in a society that has systemic prejudice when one isn't of the dominant identity. If they wanted to eliminate race in admissions to be an included factor then preferences for legacy admission should have been ruled unconstitutional too, since alumni are overwhelming white.

Having the top #Republican in #Congress react approvingly to the #SCOTUS ruling by saying "no American should be denied educational opportunities because of race" when the ruling will almost definitely lead to rejecting more #Black university applicants and accepting more #White applicants is about as #whitenationalist as you can get. It's not even veiled #racism but just straight up doing a cheer for actively holding back Black people.
