TECHNOLOGY + SYSTEMS. We're utterly reliant on banking systems but know very little about what goes on behind the scenes. A new book itemizes it all, from ATMs to cheque clearing to micro-services to analytical dashboards. Lots of great technical detail and history. So much jankiness. Surprisingly, this book also speaks to omni-channel service design. Kinda amazing authors were able to document it all.

@masakepic Hello :) I am interested in the topics you mentioned though other than gardening, I am not that active yet.

Partially because one of the garden I have has been neglected for 30 years. So it has been rewilding quite a lot by itself and I have to scrape some of it back for gardening ;)

There is also @BuildSoil here, who started the project of planting one million chestnut trees! He can tell you more, but he is also into and permaculture.
