An especially cool new paper in @PLOSBiology, on spatial navigation in goldfish and the role(s) of a somewhat unique cell type in the goldfish brain. The cells are a kind of boundary vector cell, that respond when the animal is moving away from a boundary. Really interesting experimental design, fun paper to read.
