Today, when I got some Notifications, the counter cleared itself as soon as I navigated to the Notifications column.

Yesterday I switched from Edge to DuckDuckGo browser on my smartphone. It shows only one column at a time in portrait orientation. I use mastodon.social — I don't know whether that matters.

For me, I prefer automatic clearing of the Notification counter. So I don't mind no check mark. 😀

@DarthMother2000 You didn ask this; I am merely observing: the Translate function also translates the hashtag, from mikrokom to microcopy. That feels incorrect to me.

I'm switched from Tusky to Subway Tooter because it lets me translate toots in languages I can't read.

However, I prefer the clean look and feel of Tusky and may return to it next week.
