331 followers · 2528 posts · Server fedi.kcore.orgBit of a search to get the #lenovo #thinkpad #t14s #gen3 stable. Had to resort to a #rawhide kernel and #drm drivers otherwise #amdgpu would reset and hang the graphics. It seems to be solved in the more recent kernel and mesa drivers.
Power usage optimalisation is also still a work in progress, testing out the new AMD pstate EPP driver now (amd_pstate=active)

I swear that this is a leitmotif on all Linux boxes I ever had.

Also, the fact that they allowed the device reception without a drive was good (even though the fact that they had to check before confirming it was worrying).
