The bacteriophage T4 is a well studied and known model and has been long looked at for this purpose.
Washington DC scientists have successfully coated T4 to allow it to pass through lipid cell walls and into specialized human cells. Embryonic cells and mouse models are next.

Ich möchte im Juli eine #Wanderung von der #Kesch SAC Hütte zum #PizForun machen. Habe Beschreibungen gefunden, dass das wohl "leicht" machbar sein sollte - als #T4, also sofern das leicht ist ;)
Hat jemand vlt. ein GPX für die Route? Also den Südhost Hang hoch.
Und dann ab wollte ich nach Westen. Bei Murtel digls Stangels zum Weg bei Ava da Ravais-ch.

Picked up some used T4 books to round out my collection. The idea of an early imperial game, full of exploration and first contact is very appealing. There’s not a lot of official material to work with, so it’s really a very GM sandbox feel. Also very Star Trek, if the federation of planets was explicitly an empire building colonizer.

Heute haben wir uns auf den Weg gemacht den Quandal Forest (Mangroven) zu erkunden. Touristenguides bieten hierfür eine Bootstour mit dem Schnellboot an.
Wir verwenden hierfür unseren Bus und das Packraft.
Die Anfahrt zum Wald entpuppte sich als Offroadstrecke welche auf keiner Karte eingezeichnet ist.
Aber der Weg ist ja fast das Ziel.

Das schöne an den Fischrestaurants in Saudi Arabien (und auch im Oman) ist, das man seinen Fisch den man essen will selbst mitbringen kann. Also Angel raus oder zum nächsten Fischer.
Der Fischmarkt in Farasan ist super dafür:
1. Im winzigen Supermarkt das Getränk deiner Wahl erwerben
2. Fisch kaufen
3. Im Restaurant Fisch zubereiten lassen und essen.

Heute war wieder Wandertag.
Über den Al Manjour Trail gelangten wir auf den oberen Teil der Abbruchkannte. Die Höhendifferenz von unten nach oben sind 279 Meter.
Tut also weh wenn man von der Klippe fällt 😉

Mittlerweile haben wir schon 33.000 km mit unserem T4 zurückgelegt und an den Reifen werden die Gebrauchsspuren sichtbarer.
