I've been running on my trusty old for quite some time now, but it seemed not as snappy as it used to be. So before I do a complete clean install again I wanted to test out the latest release since I've heard good things about it being somewhat better with IO, latency and such things. It seems that this is true. At least it feels way more responsive than what I have seen Ubuntu do on this laptop prior.

J'utilise mon sous depuis 10h du matin, sans wi-fi (pas de pilotes libres), je l'ai fermé il y a un quart d'heure, il reste 26 % de batterie.

Vor 3 Wochen finde ich in den , dass einer bei mir um die Ecke einen gebrauchten verkauft. Dachte ich laufe rüber und schaue es mir an ... Ich wollte eigentlich nicht direkt das Ding kaufen, aber als der Typ einen Thinkpad aus der Originalverpackung mit dem Satz "Steht unter dem Bett seit 2 Jahren ..." zieht ... drauf und seit 3 Wochen kann ich nicht glücklicher sein :)! Mein Kind auch nicht, da er das 9J alte ASUS mit Debian drauf geerbt hat :)
