But when I hear the locals here (or anyone for that matter), eating with open-mouthed loud smacks with every bite (as is common, here), it sounds like sloppy sex. 😂😂😂 It's not that I don't like sex. Au contraire! But I kind of like to separate my sensual experiences into nice, clean compartments. 😂🙏

I've lived in the US for a few years now, and I didn't really experience many culture shocks, coming from a sizable city in Central Europe.

But one thing that still stands out to me is that Americans don't really have a common expression for "enjoy your meal", as you would in French (bon appétit) or Slovak (dobrú chuť).
