Can any #Woodworker on here advise me as to whether Elliottis ply (aka shuttering ply) is suitable for #woodwork #JigMaking, such as a crosscut sled for a #tablesaw? It's significantly cheaper than other sorts of #plywood

Made a fid for the edge of the table, so the laptop can't slide off.
Used the slightly scary Soviet table saw for cutting the groove into it (where the table surface goes in).
Don't worry, I made some push sticks for this saw and treat it with the respect it deserves. It's a bit janky, but works well enough after giving it some attention last time.

Not rusty table saw with zero clearance plate. Just picked up a hood miter gauge at a garage sale for $5. The featherboard was a freebie I got clearing out a ham's garage. New blade installed today worked wonders, the old one definitely was done (hence the pulley issue). #diy #tablesaw
This was the sad state this #tablesaw was in when I got it, have fixed it up and removed all the rust, upgraded the insert to a zero clearance one, etc... My neighbor bought a fancy new saw and was going to toss it out on the curb. I needed a table saw. Still working on it.
Fixed the vintage #Craftsman #tablesaw #pulley issue. Had to put a crowbar up in between the metal wall and pulley (and WD40 the shaft) to persuade it to go back where it belongs. Then I tightened the set hex nut. Don't lose the little rectangular piece which keeps the pulley from spinning.
Here’s my latest short on YouTube. I’ve had a slow start posting longer videos due to some medical issues which are finally resolved. Anyway here’s about a minute of dialing in a bevel cut on my #tablesaw please show this video some love, if you’re inclined (like my blade). It’s been a shaky start but my little business is finally on the right (and left) foot. Setting up my tablesaw for a bevel cut. #woodworking #woodworker #tablesaw

Oooh, figured out what a #featherboard is for! (yes, you can tell I ended up with one with no idea what they were for) #tablesaw #carpentry https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bl-hQDwhxpo

Ever have one of those moments in your shop when you’ve been paying attention to so many things that the blindingly obvious escapes you? I had that moment yesterday with the camera on me. At least I had my safety equipment. No!! You can’t do it like that. If you enjoy my video, please consider liking, leaving a comment or subscribing. This is a new venture for me. #woodworking #tablesaw #cherrywood #woodworker #blooper

New riving knife on my vintage Atlas table saw, and all zero clearance inserts have been notched. 1st cuts have been made and it works great! (post modification to fit the vintage saw).
I've had this saw for around 4 years. I didn't get a riving knife with it. It feels much safer now for making longer cuts.
Well, apparently if we go out to the garage and move this to there, and that to over here, and this thingie can go on top of that bit, and if we just build one more set of shelves, we'll have enough room...
brb, buying a table saw
It can happen to anyone, faster than you imagine. I got lucky because I wasn’t hurt but tablesaw kickbacks are sudden and dangerous. I’m trying to build a following, if you are inclined, please like, comment or subscribe. Most importantly, use your tools safely. #wooworker #woodworking #tablesaw #safety https://youtube.com/shorts/3hqDpq7T37M?feature=share

Here’s my latest video cutting a cherry slab on my crosscut sled. It’s a demonstration that even though there’s smoke coming from the slab, the wood isn’t burnt. https://youtube.com/shorts/XAwGQjUDB4o?feature=share #woodworking #tablesaw
