#tabletopReading: Offworlders (by @chrispwolf) has a neat way of handling skills. They have no numerical value, but if you have a skill that's applicable to your action, and you roll a miss, you can reroll one of the dice. Since action rolls are 2d6, with 6- a miss and 10+ a success without consequence, that means a skilled character always has a chance (but only a chance!) of turning a miss into some kind of success, and some misses could even become criticals.
A few things I like about Monster of the Week so far:
1. Locations have motivations (helps clarify for the Keeper their utility)
2. Monsters have weaknesses that must be triggered before they can be defeated (helps structure the challenge)
3. Monsters have minions who are sometimes more active and/or nefarious than the monsters themselves (gives dynamism and variation to the mysteries)

Wondering if it would make sense to set up a TTRPG reading group on BookWyrm. Would that be a valuable way to structure discussion about the hobby? Would people use it?

Thinking of hashtags that could make #TTRPG talk easier to navigate, e.g.:
#sessionReport for what's happening at your table.
#gameRunning for how you GM, DM, referee, whatever.
When combining with other words, I suspect "tabletop" may be easier on screen readers than "TTRPG." So…
#tabletopDesign for talking about making in general.
#tabletopWIP to show what you're working on specifically.
#tabletopSolo for games you play on your own.
#tabletopReading for looking at texts.
Thoughts?
