They are still going from #tadpoles to #frogs. How small are they? The finger in the photo is my thumb and I have slender fingers. Pacific Chorus Frogs (aka tree frogs). #FroggyTales I have named this one Thor. Everyone has similar but distinct markings.

Hot day yesterday and the #tadpoles were going absolutely crazy in the pond. Ignored me taking photos, which is odd, not that it helped me focus any better.

Checked out our little home pond. Sticking phone underwater for tadpoles it’s hard to tell what’s in frame and focus. With the big frogs you just move slow and they totally don’t notice.

Tiny tadpoles are out along with other pond inhabitants. I couldn’t see what I was filming (phone jammed in water), you'll want to pause it to see how many things you can identify. Not all tadpoles are swimming, much less horizontal. I spotted 4 or 5 tadpoles, a mosquito larvae, tiny snails, and maybe a dragonfly larvae up by surface. What are bubble things at end? Just bubbles?

Don't mind the dog barking (not a dog fish). 🐕

Rainy winter brings: pacific tree frog tadpoles! We have a small man made pond with a gate on top to keep raccoons, possums, skunks, birds etc from diving in and helping themselves. The tadpoles are sunning on a raised piece of paving stone. Because of the lengthy drought, it’s been a while (7yrs)since we’ve had tadpoles here.

My morning dog walk with Arthur today saw our first view this spring of hundreds of tadpoles.
We wander past this pond every day, I've even waded into it to retrieve an abandoned bike but usually it's a peaceful place to be. Apart from the time I had a row with a bloke down there trying to take tadpoles home to show to his kids! Hopefully no repeat performance of that this year! #nature #tadpoles

Updated pond photo 😂📸. Yesterday we waited outside for the ☀ to reach the pond - dedicated to the cause of photographing the tadpoles and frogspawn 👀⛅🌞. A bit tricky to see but in the left hand photo the dark patches around the brick at the bottom of the pond are masses of tadpoles just 'hatched' from their spawn.
