Sharing a quick post about TAGUETTE - a fantastic free open source solution for qualitative text analysis. Ill do a proper post on it once my site is up but yeah, get it, install it, try it out. Superb.
You can use an exe file to install on Windows, Mac needs a more technical approach but an installer is coming soon. You can also try it out online.

It is certainly good to try out tailor-made #QDA-Software as it facilitates many tasks in #qualitative #dataanalysis. @VickyRampin is involved in the #Taguette development and showed in her webinar the pros/cons of the different #floss packages.
Btw, that's a good advice of your supervisor 🙂

I frequently use #MaxQDA (and previously #NVivo) at work. In smaller projects, I used #f4analyse and #RQDA. Besides RQDA, I just tested some other #opensource #QDA-software:
These cross-platform (incl. #Linux) #FLOSS packages seemed to be generally suitable for my purpose (social science research): #QualCoder, #Taguette, #CATMA, #Cassandre. RQDA is outdated (some new git commits).
Proprietary cross-platform packages that seemed to be generally suitable: f4analyze, #Quirkos, #Dedoose.
