I had an IT support ticket today that said only this:
"Can't access computer"
I was 🤏 close to replying with
"Contact estates for access issues, we're IT"
If only I'd remembered to take my crystal ball to work today!
I'm staffing the incidents desk today at work. We just got a ticket from someone which, I kid you not was this:
"Internet problem"
Followed by a picture of two electric plugs and a network problem.
That was it, nothing else. No location, no context, no error message... I felt like replying with a picture of my own sockets and saying "try this". 🤦🏻♂️

I don't get people sometimes:
User: "I need my name changed before Tuesday, or I won't be paid!"
Me: "have you raised a ticket?"
User: "no, but I need it done before Tuesday"
Me: it's a bank holiday weekend, and we close for 3 days in 60 minutes. 🤦🏻♂️"Here's their number, good luck"
A swear, sometimes our users just mash their keyboard when reporting incidents.
"What's the problem?"
User: "ajfnrodb baanabread window bluescreen"
Me: 🤔
User: "it doesn't work!"
Me: 🤷🏻♂️
Just had to take a moment, because my last call was hair-pulling-swearing-down-the-phone inducing maddening. I'm all for people helping their friends, but not when a simple password reset takes 45 minutes because that "help" is telling them the opposite of what you're telling them.
