I'm a dev working on Kahu.io, but I want to take a little break from it (~1 week or so). Let me know if I can build something useful for you using #tailwindcss #php #postgresql #rabbitmq #redis #docker (RT if you want to help improve my offer reach)

How do you use #tailwindcss in a library without exposing the default #css classes that could potentially be overwritten by the using host project?
How do you write a component library nowadays using #tailwindcss that ships with set of default styles that are scoped?
@hasanhaja @astro @eleventy I really would like to hear whether and how #tailwindcss is used in bigger projects with design "principles" used on a wide-spread of components. Any thoughts on this?
I know what Tailwind is and I have "played around" with it. Using it myself for a landing page or so it kinda makes sense to me, but on really huger projects with many people involved, I have no experience using it, but I would like to hear about it.
I fear that a LOT of people are going to start using #HTMX for the same reason they use #TailwindCSS; it saves them from having to learn a language they don't like. #javaScript #css

Any feedback about #Windy, the tool from Beyond Code, to transform CSS into #TailwindCSS classes?
Does it work well?
Now there are some that suggest we oughtn't be shipping #DOM declaring JS to the browser at all:
#HTMX recommends returning HTML from APIs and simply rendering that according to the rules of its attributes. In other words; the only DOM manipulations that a frontend app can make are those that are handed to it by the server. The server is the only place where HTML is generated. HTMX simply hydrates it.
#HTMX is for #JS what #TailwindCSS is for #CSS

After a few months on my first Tailwind project I can say it has lived up to my expectations: nice framework for those without prior CSS experience, or for JS or backend devs, but not my thing. I can live with it but I’d rather not if given the choice. Maybe cause I’ve been pro CSS since the beginning, I don’t know. Just seems to not click with the vibe of what CSS really stands for #webdev #css #frontend #tailwindcss

Has anyone had success using Tailwind with Astro in VSCode? Turns out the Headwind extension, which I use to sort Tailwind classes on save, doesn't work on Astro files. I spent a couple hours last night trying to setup ESLint/Prettier to get the same functionality but I had a lot of issues. If anyone has a repo they could point to where that is working, please let me know.

Putting this question to the community: I want to try and find a no-code or low-code (preferably #foss) tool to help me build a #MVP proof-of-concept #PWA app, that preferably outputs to modern frameworks like #TailwindCSS over #Laravel - something that I can hack on later, because the thing I lack most at the moment is time, not skill...

🤌 Tailwind on Rails №2: Advanced Navbar Dropdown Menu
Previously we created a responsive layout with a Sidebar.
Now, on a small screen we will hide the sidebar and display a dropdown mobile-only menu instead.
✓ close dropdown by clicking Escape
✓ close dropdown if screen size is more than sm (768 px)
✓ hide main area and display ONLY dropdown on page
✓ blur main area
✓ disable scrolling of body content

À chaque fois que j'utilise #TailwindCSS je ressens la même chose : du repos mental, moins de choix à faire 😎
