Does anyone on #Astrodon have a #Telescope? If so, then let's see it! Here's mine - a 1985 Meade 2080 LX3 OTA mounted on a Sky-Watcher EQ-5 mount. I still have the original Meade forks, drive base and tripod, but I find the EQ-5 is a lot easier to use, set up and do astrophotography with.

Using the #WestportObservatory #Takahashi refractor, WAS President Shannon Calvert (The Wizard of WAS) got a nice shot of #Comet C/2022 E3 (#ZTF) from his home in Easton yesterday. We'll look at this (and more) when we open for the WAS Weekly Wednesday #StarParty this week! (Spoiler alert- it doesn't look like this in a telescope!)
