Are the gods telling me something? Should I be shopping for an acoustic bass?

I dug out the looper. With a mixer I'd have all the parts to a neat version...

Not that I'm anywhere near that level.

A new #takamine TK40 is like $170. I found a cheaper alternative, the TP4T, for $140 (with one place weirdly half that).

Watching one YouTube video and realized how it worked.

Now I just need 9V battery cover for $20!

I've mentioned more than once how nice this #takamine #guitar fits. I was googling around today to figure out why. I think it must be the "NEX" body, aka "mini-jumbo" (which for some reason is smaller than a dreadnought--would you expect "mini-large" to be smaller than medium?)

ANYWAY

I came across info on the "has never worked" preamp. It's just kind of weird to use--flashes in tuning mode and has no lights when playing.

It works fine.

$650 fully functional mid-end(?) guitar for $80
