My wife has a friend who is apparently living up a tree in the Tarkine Takayna forest in Tasmania fighting the loggers.

Located between the takayna/Tarkine Forest and the coast, the intervening hills are alive with small copses of trees, rocky outcrops and fields of flowers and button grass.

Largely untouched by industry, takayna is under constant threat from mining and forestry as it remains unprotected.
