I'm constantly amazed by the declining quality of the average webpage. It feels like they exist solely for hosting ads and featuring minimal SEO-optimized content to lure in click-hungry visitors.

Remember when we dreamt of micropayments? Sadly, it's not a profitable venture for big corporations.

It's time we reclaim the web and prioritize content and user experience over ads.

Web (1.0) first mainly static

Web 2.0 user generated content, social media features as we know them.

These sites over time were bought and alagamated by a few large providers and used to drive massive user surveillance for marketing purposes.

Web 3.0 should be the federation of those services. No central control.

Crypto Currency is not the Web, it uses Web technologies, but isn't something you'd browse or participate in. As I don't have a social relationship with my bank.
