26 followers · 133 posts · Server universeodon.com@ike Nice. I did look at #Talend, but at that moment in time, it wasn't right for our developers, and it's a pretty heavy tool. I think it's pretty awesome, but far beyond the types of things we were trying to accomplish at that time.
Talend done well is amazing. Talend done poorly is as painful as it gets--I've seen this in practice before.

I'm trying to learn more how it fits in the industry and what itch it scratches.
Im not a developer (though know how to get into trouble with Python, etc), but back in the day I ran ETL jobs using #Talend Open Source to replicate #Salesforce data down to a local #MySQL DB.
