After reading a Reddit thread about "TV shows with the worst endings" I had to think about Guillermo del Toro's "Tales of Arcadia" (Trollhunters, 3Below, Wizards) again.

I love the franchise, all three shows were really fun and had great characters.

Even the concluding movie was good.

But they fucked up the last five minutes of the movie so heavily, such a dumb decision and story change that, to me, insulted everything that happened before it.

I still can't grasp that. 😭

This is either my 3rd or 4th viewing through, and the stories, characters, and plot lines, all hang together so well.

With such incredible animation, sound, and voice casting, this all adds up to a very enjoyable trilogy+film.

I do wish these sorts of series were released on Bluray as well, so we have our own copies to keep and re-watch. Hopefully, that may happen, one day...
