I've been making steady progress in #TalesOfBerseria lately and yesterday I decided to see how much is left in the game from a full playthrough video on YouTube. Turns out I'm only about halfway through (I started 2 years ago).

I've been enjoying it a lot and it runs great on both my gaming PCs, as do other titles that I'm still working on, so I might as well hold off on getting a new graphics card. Although there are some great deals on last gen cards that are bound to be gone before long.

Es el primer Tales que he completado la historia (no se si es el tercero que pruebo ya que fue hace tiempo los otros) y me ha encantado, por un lado la historia, que tiene un tono oscuro/adulto bastante chulo, los protas, con el paso de las horas me han ido gustando más y más, tiene toques de humor muy buenos y la bso es una maravilla.
Me queda intentar platinearlo aunque ya se que va para largo, pero poco a poco intentaré sacarlo, ya que me sigue apeteciendo jugarlo aun habiéndolo terminado.

Lo que me ha provocado tambien el juego es probar otros Tales, pero a la vez me da un poco de reparo que no me vayan a gustar tanto como este, que me ha enganchado de principio a fin. #TalesOfBerseria

Just played #TalesOfBerseria for the first time in a while. I'm about 16 hours in. I don't love everything about this game but I think I like it more than Final Fantasy XIII. My main issue with it is all the customization stuff. It seems very convoluted. I really like the art style, characters, and story. I've yet to get the hang of the battle system, and it doesn't help that I take so many long breaks from the game and forget things I've already figured out.

Siempre ha sido una saga con muchos altibajos, incluso se pensaba que Sword and Fairy 6 iba a ser el último por sus críticas tan pésimas. Usando Unity 3D, desarrollaron un juego con gráficos obsoletos y una optimización bastante pésima (una recepción similar a cuando salió #TalesofZestiria y #TalesofBerseria). Asímismo, Softstar decidió colaborar con #EpicGames, un estudio donde la mayoría de sus acciones residen desde China.

Así fue como nació The Legend of Sword and Fairy 7, usando #UnrealEngine4 y en colaboración con Epic Games, crearon el primer título de la franquicia en tener una localización internacional para todas las plataformas, un gran avance en gráficos, un combate de acción (abandonando el combate por turnos después de 20 años), y seguramente el título que la mayoría conozcan. Pero claro, ¿De qué trata este RPG? ¿En qué orden lo juego? ¿Son realmente malos?

Bueno, analicemos un poco la saga y descubramos el universo de Sword and Fairy.

In addition to having a great story so far, Tales of Berseria just has a really clean and sharp anime visual style.

Plus, you can add fun accessories to the characters, and they stick around during the cut scenes, which is always fun.

I think I'm going to wear out my screenshot key.

I started playing through Tales of Berseria on PC this weekend.

I am really impressed by how this game takes the JRPG "gameplay mechanics tutorial disguised as a protracted intro" trope and both kind of turns it on its head and dials it up to 11 at the same time.

I'm looking forward to what lies ahead!
