After the initial taste, the mid taste comes. I tasted spices, black pepper, and after that, some dried fruits, such as apricot. I also got a vanilla taste at the very end, which complements this perfectly!
I suggest consuming bitter chocolate and dried fruits along with this whiskey.
I quite like this single malt whiskey so far, and I will definitely purchase again.

The initial taste directly reminded me of seafood, both meat and vegetables. Such as smoked meat, sea kidney beans, even moss and calamari. Additionally, when you breathe, you feel the saltiness and burn feel from the alcohol.

I came upon one of the 43 year #Talisker bottles in a cabinet recently and got some serious jealousy. I'm not messing around with that kind of whisky money. I only make the medium bucks. Still, I had to scratch an itch so I brought these home. So, that's the whisky dealt with for a good while.

Some batches are very good, some are bad, but in the end they seem to be unpredictable and have a huge bandwidth in which they release stuff. Anyway, #Talisker 10 then. Talisker, Isle of Skye. This is one of my favourite places to walk.
The walk takes you along a country lane passed Talisker house. Once you cross a small stone bridge the path opens up to open crost land. There are lots of sheep grazing. At the end of the farm track Talisker bay is on view. It is amazing.
