Just about to watch a brilliant film, that if I described it, you would think the most boring thing in the world. It's a good detective film. Then the Footage detectives on at 5pm. If you have access to the #TalkingPictures TV channel in UK they show a quirky and fab American #1960s #SciFi show called "The Outer Limits". Black and White, pre moon landing, lots of science themed plots, #Aliens, #Robots, #Space #Dimensions. Brilliant fun. 📺

One of the all-time great underseen #movies, The Day The Earth Caught Fire is on #TalkingPictures TPTV player.

It's genuinely great, slow-build stuff. @AlasdairStuart described it as The West Wing meets the end of the world - it's fast-talking, smart and I cannot recommend it enough.

It also has, if you listen carefully, an early cameo from Michael Caine.
